Abstract

This 'letter to a political prisoner' from John Berger's forthcoming epistolary novel is written in the person of a woman whose man is in jail for life on political grounds, and tells the prisoner to whom it was sent about how the writer, along with many other women, surrounded a factory building where seven wanted men were hiding and which was going to be attacked.
